Who We Work With

Knowing what to do isn't the same as doing it consistently.

Whether you're managing your own responsibilities or supporting a student, the challenge is the same.

For Adults

Capable, but inconsistent

You might be:

  • Constantly overwhelmed by your to-do list
  • Struggling to start or finish important tasks
  • Managing deadlines, responsibilities, or major transitions
  • Feeling capable, but inconsistent in execution
For Students · Supported by Parents

Potential, without the structure

You might be:

  • Supporting a student who struggles with organization and follow-through
  • Seeing missed assignments, forgotten tasks, or lack of structure
  • Watching your child feel frustrated despite their potential
  • Looking for systems that actually stick beyond school support

The Problem

When systems don't work, everything feels harder.

Executive functioning challenges don't come from a lack of intelligence or effort. They come from a mismatch between how your brain works and the systems you're trying to use.

It's not a character flaw. It's a design problem — and design problems can be solved.

  • Chronic procrastination
  • Difficulty starting or completing tasks
  • Disorganization and cognitive overload
  • Missed deadlines or inconsistent follow-through
  • Frustration, avoidance, and loss of confidence

What Changes

With the right systems, things start to feel different.

This is not about doing more — it's about building systems that work for you.

  • Tasks become manageable instead of overwhelming
  • You know where to start and how to move forward
  • Routines become consistent and sustainable
  • Follow-through improves without constant pressure
  • Confidence builds through real progress

Why Alana Lewis Consulting

Strategy is easy to find. Implementation isn't.

Strategy meets implementation

We don't stop at advice. Evidence-based practices are translated into sustainable habits and tools you'll actually use — week after week.

Personalized, never one-size-fits-all

Every system is tailored to how you think, work, and live. If a tool doesn't fit your brain, it isn't the right tool.

Grounded in education leadership

Led by a Director of Student Support with a background in special education and psychology — expertise earned in real classrooms and real lives, not just theory.

Built for independence

The goal isn't dependence on coaching. It's a growth-mindset foundation and systems you own — so progress continues long after our work together.

Client Feedback

Meaningful growth, in their words.

We've been incredibly grateful for the support and guidance Alana has provided our son in developing his executive functioning skills. She has a remarkable ability to help him stay organized, manage his workload, and build confidence without making the process feel overwhelming. She has a calm, thoughtful way of connecting with him that has led to meaningful growth in both his independence and maturity.

Holladay FamilyParents of a student client

Alana's coaching has provided both structure and steady support during this especially important time — for my daughter and for me. I have seen clear growth in my daughter's ability, confidence and independence. What stands out the most is Alana's thoughtful and practical approach as well as her ability to build skills in my daughter (and other students!) that feels encouraging and sustainable. She has been nothing short of amazing in the time that we've worked with her, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good questions deserve clear answers.

What is executive functioning consulting?

Executive functioning consulting helps you build practical systems for organization, planning, time management, task initiation, and follow-through. Rather than generic advice, we design routines and tools around how your brain actually works — so consistency stops depending on willpower.

Who do you work with?

We work with adults navigating overwhelm, deadlines, and major transitions — including ADHD and neurodivergent professionals — as well as students building organization and study systems, with parents involved through regular check-ins and home practice guides.

Is this therapy or tutoring?

Neither. This is skills-based consulting focused on systems and execution. We don't treat mental health conditions or reteach academic subjects — we build the structure that helps everything else work, and we complement therapy or tutoring when those are also in place.

Are sessions virtual or in person?

Sessions are held virtually via Zoom, so you can work with us from anywhere. In-person options are available in select locations — ask during your discovery call.

What happens after I book a discovery call?

Three simple steps: fill out a short interest form, meet for a discovery conversation to talk through your goals and the right fit, and then start your journey. After the discovery meeting, you'll receive a full offerings guide with engagement options.

How long does it take to see results?

Most clients leave their very first session with a clear, personalized action plan. Lasting systems and consistent follow-through build over ongoing work — the goal is sustainable progress you can maintain independently, not a quick fix that fades.

You're already here — let's take the next step.

If you're ready to move from overwhelm to structure and consistency, the first step is a simple conversation.
